Multi Chemistry Battery charger
I want to design a multi chemistry battery charger using TOP257. I want to implement the CC and CV control from an ucontroller. The output voltage and current feedback will be given to ucontroller and ucontroller will provide the required feedback to TOP257 through the optocoupler. There by I can implement complex CC and CV charging algorithm and I can use the charger as multi chemistry charger. My questions are 1. Is it possible to give the feedback signal to TOP257 from uController DAC output? 2. What is the required feedback signal for TOP257? Current/ voltage/ frequency and their limits, 3. What is the relation between feedback signal and output? 4.Are you having any design idea? I am designing it for an OEM. They are one of inverter and battery manufacturer in India. The production volume will be 5000 per month. I am looking for your valuable reply.

Where duty cycle is a function of control pin current. The control pin expects a DC current.
