BridgeSwitch with IPH Built-in Simplifies Motor Drive Design, Boosts Efficiency and Improves Control
A conventional current feedback loop in a motor control circuit is bulky, noisy and inefficient, but it doesn’t have to be. PI’s BridgeSwitch half-bridge motor driver ICs feature IPH motor phase functionality built-in, reducing related component count from 30 to three and achieving up to 99% efficiency.
